Dr. Bettina Meekins, a board certified ophthalmologist, earned her medical degree from the University of Miami. She completed her ophthalmology residency and oculoplastics fellowship at Duke University. With over 20 years of experience, she possesses extensive knowledge of cosmetic eyelid surgery, eyelid cancer, tearing disorders, eyelid malpositions, orbital diseases, eyelid reconstruction, and thyroid eye disease. She also has vast experience in the treatment of blepharospasm and hemifacial spasm with botulinum toxin. Dr. Bettina Meekins was the first physician in the geographic area to offer Botox injections and dermal fillers for wrinkle reduction and has extended her aesthetic services to include skin rejuvenation and laser hair removal.
